The temples are our home – our spiritual abode
The idea of this retreat lies in the fact that you’ll always find calmness and serenity wherever you enter a temple. In yoga we learn to treat our body as temple and we do certain activities to make sure it stays healthy. In Hindu culture the ancient sages and seers of the east understood the importance of temples in daily life. That’s why if you go and stay with a Hindu family they’ll always have a small shrine in their house. It is a place where you leave everything from the physical world and enter in to the kingdom of god – the realm pf existence.
There is always and underlying force which is working continuously to make sure the creation keeps on happening on this planet. That force exists within all of us and to feel a glimpse of that, we show you some of the most beautiful temples near Rishikesh. Listen to the stories and relive the practice of yoga in the lap of the Himalayas. Come and join us!

About Rishikesh
We chose Rishikesh, home of the Sages and Yoga Capital of the world, as our home. Sitting in the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh is popular amongst westerners and deeply immersed in spirituality. It is a cross culture of Indian mystics, monks, and western spiritual seekers. It has a nearby airport, good healthy food options, a diverse ex-pat community, and stunning natural scenery. It is known as the pilgrimage town and regarded as one of the holiest places to Hindus. There are many unexplored hikes and small treks in and near Rishikesh. It also supports major adventure activities such as ‘White water river rafting‘, ‘Kayaking‘, ‘Bungee Jump‘, ‘Giant Swing‘, and many more.
